That was fast :-( Fictionwise is now asking for credit card verification if you're buying geographically restricted books using micropay. I have heard about debit cards, though. Does anyone know if I can get one from the States which I can use for this purpose? It would only have to have a few dollars on it, since I'd only need it for this verification hassle.
Of course I don't know yet if they'll even accept a debit card in this case, but it's worth a try.

| | The money-laundering legislation means that US banks typically won't let you open an account unless you are either legally resident in the country or can physically walk into one of their branches. What you might be able to get away with is a pre-loaded card, but even if you were willing to buy one over the internet, I suspect that FW will block those as well. ![[User Picture]](http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/80020492/5692275) | | From: | sallymn |
